AAAA journey to Algeria presents an opportunity to experience how people once lived in its inviting landscapes, spanning from the North African coast to the spectacular Sahara Desert. From the atmospheric city of Constantine built astride the Rhummel Gorge, it's a short ride through the rolling countryside to the ancient Roman cities of Timgad and Djemila. AAAIn the southeastern corner bordering Libya and Niger is the stunning Tassili n'Ajjer National Park, just one section of the Sahara in the vast Algerian desert. The legacy of the inhabitants of thousands of years ago can be seen in their rock art depicting elephants and giraffes which roamed this once habitable region.
